The lung cleansing tea recipe offers a great natural way to cleanse and detox your lungs and respiratory system.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spring water
  • 2 inches ginger root
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp 1 raw local honey or a few drops of stevia
  • pinch ground cinnamon optional

Instructions

  1. Peel the ginger root and cut to thin slices.
  2. Boil the ginger in water for 5 minutes together with the turmeric powder, ground black pepper and cinnamon (optional).
  3. Reduce the heat, cover and allow the to simmer for additional 5-10 minutes. The longer, the stronger the taste.
  4. Strain the tea into your tea cup.
  5. Add the raw honey or stevia to taste (optional).
