Healing Ginger Tea

Colds, coughs, and sniffles don’t stand a chance with this tea in your life. Hot Green tea is loaded with fresh ginger, cinnamon, lemon, and raw honey – a million times better than any store-bought syrups.

With old man Winter creeping up on us quite quickly, today I’m happy to be sharing with you my secret weapon to staying bright and chipper ALL year long. Healing Ginger Tea! It’s just as wonderful as it sounds. And simple to boot! I’ve been fighting a nasty flu cold this week and I have been drinking this tea non-stop! I’ve already had two giant mugs this morning —-> It’s comfortville in a cup.

Let’s dive a little deeper into what makes this tea so delightful!

The base of this healing drink is green tea – so many wonderful antioxidants! I use Bigelow Decaffeinated Green Tea, but you can definitely use caffeinated green tea if you want a little kick. I was so happy when Bigelow offered me this chance to talk about their tea with you because it is my go-to tea of choice!

The green tea is steeped with fresh cinnamon sticks (easily found in the spice isle). Once the tea has steeped, it gets poured over raw honey, fresh grated ginger, and lemon juice. Then all you do is stir and sip away! This tea is comforting day or night, and a must if you’re stuffed up or battling a sore throat. I swear by it as my “ultimate sore throat fighter”. Even C loves this tea! And he is not even a huge tea fan. It’s just that good.

After one sip you’ll see why I swear by this healing ginger tea! Go stock up on green tea, lemons, and ginger, now! You can thank me later! xoxo

P.S. I have another cozy comforting recipe for you coming up VERY soon… teaser 😉
